Japanese December Blog

Dear Parents,

In this month we read a story including vocabularies and grammar they learned in this term and asked questions and answers as a summary of this term.
And also, we played a Japanese game called Fukuwarai which is played around new year in Japan. They needed to give instructions only in Japanese in this time, so it was more harder to create the faces, and the faces came out looking more funny than usual. Some students made their own Fukuwarai at home and brought it to the class. We enjoyed playing original Fukuwarai and their own interesting ones too.

On the last class of this term, we made a Nengajou (Japanese new year’s card).

Students have a homework during winter break, so please check it with your child.
Have a great winter break!

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about Japanese class.

Ms. Shoko
